where he captures the feelings or reinterprets the meanings.
On most of his artworks, the available QR code would link
his audience to Youtube to help guide the interpretations.

StephenC is a multi-disciplinary artists whose experiences cover both side of the Pacific Ocean.
Raised in Hong Kong, Stephen started his art training by studying western watercolor techniques
while learning oriental brush painting at the same time.
Through the decades he picked up graphite drawing, acrylics, oil, wood and clay sculptures.
But the original influence of both eastern and western water-based disciplines
is still evident in between the many thin layers of washes.

Stephen earned degrees from the U of Washington, Stanford U, and U of Michigan.
His early career took him around the country. Everywhere he went he attended local art schools.
Eventually he settled down in the Pacific Northwest to run
his publication & advertising firm that catered to small businesses.

Stephen now devotes his time to artistic pursuits, working in his own art studio,
running his small art business www.SoulDuster.net,
teaching and studying at the Kirkland Arts Center,
and continuing his art education at Western Washington University.
His adopted social cause is "child abuse awareness".
In his spare time, Stephen loves running and enjoys travelling.
